We are super excited to announce a brand new venue opening within the city and thrilled that MYP will be having the first look.

Introducing…DEAR SAILOR! Dear Sailor is born from what was known as the Kissa or “third place”. This isn’t your home (first place) nor your workplace (second place) but somewhere in between: somewhere where you can simply be.

The concept is driven through the emotion that music & drink evokes, the forbidden excitement of secrecy and censorship, as well as the ambience we want to achieve; considered but not formal, vibrant but not gimmicky, old meets new… East meets West Dear Sailor is a cocktail bar and destination Inspired by the Underground jazz cafés which sprung up around Tokyo in the 1930s, where locals would listen to music while enjoying cocktails in secret.

On 7th December, we will be testing out three of their cocktails at the brand new Spinningfields location, located in the former Wolf unit, opposite Sunset by Australasia.
