We asked the leading firm of accountants and business advisors to tell us more about what they do. Here’s what they had to say:
Who?
Haines Watts is a leading firm of chartered accountants and business advisors.
We support owner-managed businesses across Manchester and the wider UK, helping them to overcome the inevitable challenges that come with owning a business, as well as spotting opportunities to drive growth within their organisations.
What?
As a team, we always focus on building strong, long-lasting relationships with people in business. In doing so, we’re able to tailor our services to suit each of our clients’ specific needs, challenges, and values.
Whether it be an audit, tax planning, bookkeeping and accounts, or maximising the technology at hand in order to streamline business processes, we offer all of the business solutions owner-managers need on their growth trajectory.
Where?
We have more than 50 offices across the UK, including our team of over 40 experts based within Manchester city centre.
The strength of a national network allows us to draw upon expertise around the group, as well as our own, and means that our team can connect with their colleagues across the UK.
Why?
Owning a business is rewarding, but it’s challenging too. Not least in recent years and the challenging economic environment they’ve brought.
Acting as a sounding board for strategic decisions and offering business owners valuable, pragmatic, and commercially driven advice means that we can help them to realise their ambitions and meet their goals as an organisation.
How important is community to you as a local business?
Engaging with our local community isn’t just something we feel passionate about, it’s a crucial part of the way we work. As a team, we are delighted to be the first office in the national Haines Watts network to achieve a silver CSR accreditation for our efforts in the community.
Alongside fundraising for local causes, maintaining our carbon-neutral status, and talking to local schools about careers and the industry whenever we can, we’re really proud to support initiatives like MYP.
