Who?
NSTR is a specialist recruitment consultancy that places candidates in roles across the accountancy practice and corporate finance sectors. With over 40 years of combined experience, NSTR has developed a reputation for exceptional service and delivery.
What?
Founded in 2017 by Nick Simons (The NS) and Tom Rogers (The TR) NSTR has become a market leading recruitment consultancy across a national and international remit.
Our clients range from Big 4 firms, advisory houses of all sizes, regional practices, corporate finance boutiques and start-ups. Our detailed knowledge of this market that we operate in enables us to add tremendous value to clients and candidates alike.
We have supported hundreds of clients on contingent/retained/temporary/FTC recruitment projects, across all levels up to Partner/ MD level and have also acted as introducer of an international boutique advisory practice to another larger boutique for an acquisition.
As we are specialists in our field and work with a large number of our clients on an exclusive or retained basis, our candidates can receive introductions to doors that may otherwise be closed to other candidates, so we always encourage good candidates who may feel frustrated about a lack of traction in the market to talk to us.
Where?
NSTR’s office is located in Albert Square in the centre of Manchester. We have a fantastic view of the building site and current construction works but we are confident it will be worth the wait when the newly designed square is reopened, not to mention having the Christmas Markets just outside our doorstep!
Why?
Nick and Tom set up together to build a specialist recruitment firm within the accountancy & consulting sector. There was a huge gap in the market to do this as it was historically occupied by individuals in other recruitment firms, which included ourselves prior to NSTR. Critically, we are focused on delivering outstanding service to clients and creating a working culture that colleagues enjoy and where good performance is recognised and rewarded.
We are true specialists within the accountancy practice, corporate finance & R&D sector. Our deep knowledge of the market we operate in enables us to add tremendous value to clients and candidates alike.
Our network extends across the UK, offshore and international locations worldwide. We have stuck to our business plan and continued to grow year in year out, and we are now looking to continue in the same vein and introduce new disciplines and geographies.
How important is community to NSTR?
