As a specialist boutique legal recruitment agency with over 25 years in the business Chadwick Nott help legal professionals across the UK and internationally with their career choices.
How did you get involved with Manchester Young Professionals?
Early in 2019, we sponsored one of MYP’s breakfast clubs at Albert’s Schloss. We were really impressed with the enthusiasm and buzz in the room creating an abundance of networking opportunities for everyone – it really set us up for the working day.
Our next event was the MYP Summer Social, held outside at the Oast House in June
2019. Despite a few hiccups like the storm-level rain and wind stopping us from putting
our banners up safely, we were really enthused by the strong growth of the MYP
community; the weather didn’t deter the circa 100 attendees!
What do you and MYP do together?
We sponsor and support MYP with their social events throughout the year – they offer
the opportunity for networking and developing professional relationships in a
supportive and friendly environment.
What’s your favourite thing about Manchester?
Manchester has a diverse population, energetic nightlife and thriving multicultural food
scene; it has almost everything that London has to offer. From a legal perspective, it is an exciting time, with plenty of growth and new entrants to the market.
What’s been your favourite Manchester Young Professionals event?
Both events were very different and so we couldn’t pick a favourite! We are very much
looking forward to the next and for sponsoring many more in the future (but hopefully
minus the rain).
