As well as bringing together like-minded young professionals from across Manchester City Centre, here at Manchester Young Professionals we also happen to love spreading positivity and having a bit of fun along the way. And, given that we’re nearing the end of what has been a pretty tumultuous year, to say the least, we thought we’d put a bit of fun into the world by way of a 7-day giveaway bonanza! We’re giving our followers a chance to win some fantastic prizes that have kindly been donated by Manchester-based businesses! The whole point is to try and cheer people up as well as supporting Manchester businesses who are struggling as we get used to this new lockdown.
How To Enter
All you have to do to win is tag a mate (multiple entries are allowed), follow MYP and the local Manchester business that is kindly giving away their goodies on Instagram. The Prizes Which We’ve Given Out Already!
Giveaway #1 – A Box of Eight Gooey Doughnuts and Cookies!
The bar for doughnuts and cookies is pretty high in Manchester but we think Gooey might just be the best ones out there. So, to kick things off, we offered people the chance to win a box of eight cookies and doughnuts! Not a bad tasty treat, right? Over 1,200 people left comments and after running these through a random generator @frankiedaviesx was chosen as the winner!
Giveaway #2 – A LuluLemon Yoga Set
As tasty as cookies and doughnuts are it’s important, especially during lockdown 2.0, to ensure your mental and physical health are still thought of. No one is expecting you to work out every single day but the benefits of the occasional yoga session, for instance, are priceless. Speaking of yoga, our second giveaway was a rather nice Lululemon yoga set consisting of a mat, strap and yoga block. After 674 entries in the form of comments on our Instagram post, @saoirsemairead_ was the lucky winner of this yoga set.
Giveaway #3 – Rudy’s Bake at Home, Beer & Tartufo For 2
Is there anything better than pizza? Yes, Rudy’s Bake at Home pizza, Rudy’s Pale Ale and their delicious Chocolate Tartufo, for free, for two people. This mouth-watering prize was on offer for our third give away. Hand-stretched authentic Neapolitan pizza, crisp beer and a sweet treat to end, it doesn’t get better than that. With over 450 entries @declanwestphotography was crowned the winner.
Giveaway #4 – Federal Coffee For One Week and a Box of 9 ‘just natas’
One of Manchester’s most famous brunch spots, Federal, combined with one of the city’s more up and coming places, ‘just natas’, to offer up a rather awesome double whammy. This prize included a complimentary coffee pass for an entire week and a box of freshly-baked Pastel de Nata. So not only is that as much coffee as you can handle for 7 days but you can also pair that free flat white or mocha with a delicious Portuguese egg tart. There were over 600 entries and @nicolahollick was the lucky winner!

All these sound pretty tasty right? Well, guess what? We’re not ending the giveaways anytime soon. Today (10th November) we’re giving away a truly amazing package of goodies. We’ve partnered with Seven Bro7hers and Sis4ers Distillery to give away a mixed case of 12 beers and 24 canned Gin & Tonics! Not bad right?
