Mates is an immersive play, and feel-good celebration of friendship that explores the warmth and community synonymous with Manchester, through the city’s culture, lifestyle, and love for a good house party.
You’ll meet Channique, Daniel, and Lauryn, three creative, outgoing neighbours who will stir you with stories about their day, show you how it feels to live as part of a community of friends, and dazzle you with the sights and sounds of Manchester.
Expect spoken word performance, comedy, and a guided meditation before you’re swept off to a house party next door, complete with a top techno DJ, hazy clubbing visuals and photo booth! Finish off the experience by enjoying a FREE pint or burger at the canal-side Seven Bro7hers Beerhouse.
